Our Mission is to advance the economic, industrial, educational, professional, cultural, and civic conditions and standards for the Hatch Valley. We do this by networking, creating dialogue and capturing goals which individual members support and the organization pursues.
The Hatch Valley is blessed with the rich floodplain of the Rio Grande River and agriculture has always been the region’s economic engine. Besides members who grow the best Chile in the World, we quite naturally have members who sell all things Chile related (Red or Green) and members with businesses which support our local needs.
The Village of Hatch is the closest incorporated community to Spaceport America and the beauty and bounty of the Valley is certain to attract a different type of economic growth in the near future. The Chamber is here to assist new businesses succeed while insisting on the co-development of civic and cultural projects which enrich the lives of our citizens, most importantly our youth.
A General membership meeting is held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 12:00 noon at Icebox Brewing located at
119 E. Hall St., Hatch, NM 87937 and all visitors are always welcomed.
The Chamber of Commerce and the Chile Festival Committee are on in the same. President is Lisa Franzoy,
Vice-President is Bernadette Acosta, and Secretary/Treasurer is Alice Soto.
